Overview:
This lecture covers key components for the fabrication of a premium denture utilizing Ivoclar's Ivotion Denture System. It includes a comprehensive look at the Ivotion System to include material physical properties, indications and clinical workflows and communication tools to ensure high quality digital dentures.
In this course, you will learn more about the following themes:
- The evolution of Ivoclar's digital denture process.
- The unique Ivotion monolithic disc and Print Base materials, to include their physical properties and indications for use.
- Workflows for success include the use of the UTS CAD, Gnathometer CAD, and the Direct to Try-in workflows.
The evening includes a live look at the digital denture workflow on the Rutherford Dental Lab production floor.

Speaker Bio: Bill Barton, MBA (MM), BS, CDT, TE is the Senior Field Technical Consultant for Ivoclar North America. Bill is a dental laboratory technician, manager, and educator with over 43 years’ experience in the industry. He served 25 years as a dental technician in the United States Air Force prior to joining the Ivoclar Technical & Digital Services Department in 2009. His extensive technical background includes experience in all phases of analog and digital fixed and removable prosthodontics. Bill’s role is to provide unsurpassed customer support, develop and lead training & education programs for Ivoclar's Academy as well as performs in-depth testing and evaluation for product development.
