Discover Local Art, Meet the Makers at the Itty Bitty Artisan & Art Show
CARLETON PLACE — Art lovers, collectors and holiday shoppers are invited to discover something truly original when the Itty Bitty Artisan & Art Show returns to the Carleton Place Arena on November 21 and 22.
Presented by Arts Carleton Place, this year’s show brings together 57 talented artists and artisans, from across the region, including 11 first-time exhibitors. Discover paintings, photography, jewellery, sculpture, pottery, glass, woodwork and mixed media—all showcasing original Canadian art and handcrafted creations under one roof.
All artworks priced at $200 and under with a magnificent selection of pieces priced at below $50. All wall art is hang ready.
And the experience goes beyond simply browsing. Visitors have the opportunity to meet the artists and artisans behind the work, hear their stories and discover the creativity that goes into every piece.
Featured Artist: Shane Belanger
This year’s featured artist is Shane Belanger of Gaibhnithe Wood and Steel, who returns to the Itty Bitty Show following a two-year absence. Belanger will introduce a new collection bringing together live-edge applewood and forged steel to create distinctive sculptures inspired by nature.
Art That Gives Back
The Itty Bitty show also helps nurture future generations of artists. A portion of the proceeds supports the Arts Carleton Place bursary program, helping graduating students from the area’s two high schools pursue post-secondary education in the arts.
Arts Carleton Place gratefully acknowledges the Town of Carleton Place for its ongoing support and commitment to strengthening arts and culture in the community.
Come for the art. Stay for the inspiration. Meet the makers. Find something you love.
