About this Event
You don’t have to talk about yourself. Talk about what’s on your card.
Everyone starts with a random nightmare scenario. Compare them, talk them over and swap them. Each card has a secret point value.
The cards make it easy to join in.
A dimly lit alley leads to the hidden entrance of Moonlight in Kensington Market, where we’ll be hosting It’s in the Cards: Nightmares for Toronto’s 30s & 40s crowd.
How does it work?
1. Receive a card
Start with one randomly assigned nightmare. It’s the only card you can’t finish the night with.
2. Compare and trade
Find out what other guests have and trade cards when you both agree. Your starting card must be traded at least once.
3. Team up
Join three other guests and submit your four cards. The hidden rankings are revealed, and the two highest-scoring teams win prizes.
Coming alone?
Most guests do.
Once trading begins, everyone has a reason to move around the room and enter different conversations. The cards take care of the opening.
This is a social event, not a dating or networking event. Costumes are welcome, but completely optional.
Tickets
Tickets are $25 and increase to $35 during the final week. Appetizers are included.
Plans change. You can receive a full refund, no questions asked, up to five days before the event.
