Five Moth champions take the stage for a night of true, funny stories. It's Funny NOW is RimoVision Group's 18th Comedy Night and its biggest yet, moving to the 500-seat Hermosa Beach Playhouse.
Headliner Frank Traynor is a four-time Moth GrandSLAM champion, a RISK! alum, and a Hermosa Beach local. Host Carlos Kotkin is a fourteen-time Moth StorySLAM winner and hosts The Moth in Los Angeles. Vicki Juditz is a Moth GrandSLAM champion heard on The Moth Radio Hour and KCRW's UnFictional, with credits including Everybody Loves Raymond. Julia Lechner is a Moth GrandSLAM champion featured on PBS's Stories from the Stage, at Netflix Is a Joke Fest, and on RISK! Kelly Spillman is a Moth GrandSLAM champion and stand-up who has headlined The Ice House, featured at the Hollywood Improv and The Comedy Store, and toured her solo show I Blame Florida nationwide.
Nothing borrowed, nothing safe. Proceeds support RimoVision Group, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit independent theatre producing original comedy in the South Bay.
