Good music. Good company. One question.Join us on Saturday, October 17, at Sundown Social Club to celebrate the launch of itonami, a Phnom Penh cultural studio exploring what makes us human.
itonami night brings together people who want to do something meaningful, try something different, and enjoy the process. Whether you make art, work with communities, have an idea for a social experiment, or simply love music and meeting people, you’re welcome.
At each edition, we’ll invite special guests and bring one question for everyone to answer. We hope these encounters grow into friendships, collaborations, and ideas that carry on beyond the night.
For our first edition, we’re bringing together some of our favorite people at one of our favorite places.
🎤 LIVE MUSIC: MATSUMURA FISHWORKS
Matsumura Fishworks brings together Mute Speaker (Rob) on live beats and production, and Ramsey Judson on vocals and rap.
Rob creates beats in real time, while Ramsey lays down seriously dope rap over them. Funky, original live hip-hop, with a love of music and a joy in playing together that you can feel.
They’re one of Take’s favorite live acts, and the duo he had in mind from the moment he started planning this night. Whatever music you’re into, come experience them live.
🍹 THE PLACE: SUNDOWN SOCIAL CLUB
A rooftop evening with a welcome breeze, delicious drinks, and conversations above the city. Sundown was our first choice from the beginning, and we’re happy to celebrate with our friends and its owners, David and Jamie.
💬 FREE ENTRY. ONE SMALL ASK.
There’s just one thing we ask everyone to do, answer one question.
“What is one problem in your everyday life you can no longer ignore?”
We’ll hand out Open Labs cards at the venue. Just scan the QR code with your phone and share your answer. You don’t need to prepare anything or have a solution, something from your own everyday life is enough.
Your answer will contribute to Open Labs, an itonami initiative that gathers everyday problems and explores what we could do about them together.
Then enjoy the night. Listen to the music, make friends, exchange ideas, and see what you might create together.
