Come with us for a relaxing exploration of the Tuscan/Umbria region of Italy as we spend our days in the midst of a working vineyard and farm, waking to quiet mediation and daily yoga, fed from local countryside, exploring the neighboring communities, celebrating and reflecting on our blessings of connection with our selves, the land, and the communities that provide for us.This trip is to guide students to find the beauty, joy, and purpose in cultivating a daily sadhana, meaning ritual or discipline, or as I like to say “spiritual chores”, that are simple, direct and nourishing so that we develop an internal foundation and resource for which to enter our days with presence and curiosity for the earthy, material, depths of living relationally with the land and with community!
Montemelino winery is an organic vineyard and farm located in the beautiful hills overlooking Lake Trasimeno. In addition to producing quality wines and olive oil, Montemelino functions as a hotel for tourists, yoga groups, and friends.
The estate is family owned for generations. It is an organic farm and hotel also known as an Agriturismos.
The venue has acres of beautiful farmland and stunning views of the Tuscan hills. A yoga studio and outdoor space for classes. All meals will be served in the indoor or outdoor eating areas depending on the weather. Apartments are all in the main villa area of the property. Most apartments have two bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms, living-room and a kitchenette. Outside the villas are plenty of open space with lovely walking paths, gardens, pool, and tables and chairs.

One Month Prior to Departure retreat must be paid in full to your contact at Tuscan Retreats.
NOTE: I would advise getting travel insurance which is usually only a few hundred dollars to cover cancellations, delays or interruptions in your trip for non refundable money and services you pay in advance for travel, but are unable to use. This does not usually cover if you change your mind and decide not to go unless you pay for cancel for any reason insurance. Cancel for any reason insurance needs to be purchased soon after you make your first deposit for the trip.
