We’re thrilled to welcome you to our Pre-Launch Happy Hour celebrating Issue XIII: Tailored.
Issue XIII looks at fashion the way we look at everything at MORE — from a broad standpoint to a magnifying-glass view. Tailored explores the stories behind what we wear, who gets to define what’s “professional,” the traditions we carry with us, and the people keeping good clothes in rotation.
Our contributors trace the gold hoops and slick buns that were once called “unprofessional” until they were renamed a trend, follow a jhumka from two thousand years of Indian craft to an unlabeled Paris runway, walk Fountain Square’s thrift district with the women keeping good clothes in rotation, and stand in a merch line at Gainbridge where a little girl finally gets to pick her own name for the back of her jersey.
For a long time, so much of what we wore was cut for someone else. Tailored isn’t about the perfect fit. It’s about deciding to stop shrinking into a cut that was never ours — and giving credit to the hands that made the one that is.
This year, we’re bringing the theme to life through an immersive evening of fashion, art, and community. Join us for a fashion show featuring local designers and creatives, live performances from two incredible performers, and our Bazaar Market, where you can shop, discover, and connect with local businesses and makers.
We’ll also be celebrating the debut of the thirteenth issue of MORE Magazine and the incredible contributors, creatives, designers, and community members who helped bring Tailored to life.
Join us for an evening of style, creativity, connection, and celebration as we officially launch Issue XIII: Tailored.
