About this Event
Islamic Psychology and Mental Health Workshop
Join us for an insightful workshop exploring the relationship between Islam, mental health, and Islamic psychology. This session will examine how Islamic teachings and contemporary psychological understanding can work together to promote wellbeing, resilience, and personal growth.
We will explore how the Prophets (peace be upon them) responded to hardship, adversity, loss, and emotional challenges, drawing practical lessons that remain relevant today. Participants will be introduced to key Islamic concepts such as sabr (patience), tawakkul (trust in Allah), and the role of faith in navigating life's difficulties.
Alongside these discussions, we will cover evidence-based wellbeing strategies, including grounding techniques and practical tools that can help manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelming emotions.
Whether you are interested in learning more about mental health, strengthening your wellbeing, or understanding how Islamic principles can support psychological resilience, this workshop will provide valuable insights and practical takeaways in a welcoming and reflective environment.
