About this Event
Topic: Pathways and certifications for understanding and managing AI risks
Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming part of how organizations operate, make decisions, manage risk, and deliver services. For cybersecurity, risk, governance, and audit professionals, this creates a new challenge. How do we apply the skills we already have to systems that introduce entirely new questions around governance, security, privacy, model risk, data integrity, accountability, and assurance?
In this session, we will examine ISACA’s emerging AI certification paths, including the Advanced in AI Security Management (AAISM), Advanced in AI Risk (AAIR), and Advanced in AI Audit (AAIA), and discuss why these credentials matter to today’s cyber and assurance professionals.
Rather than focusing only on passing another certification exam, this session will explore the knowledge behind the credentials and how it applies to real-world AI adoption. We will look at where traditional cybersecurity, risk management, and audit practices still work, where AI changes the equation, and what professionals need to understand as their organizations begin deploying AI systems.
Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of the roles cybersecurity, risk, and audit professionals can play in responsible AI adoption, how AAISM, AAIR, and AAIA align with those roles, and whether one of these certification paths makes sense for their own career.
