French-Cameroonian singer, songwriter and director Irma was among the first artists to build an international audience through YouTube. While studying in Paris, she began sharing acoustic performances online, laying the foundations of a career that would take her to audiences across Europe, Asia, Latin America and beyond. Now she boasts a social media following of MILLIONS.
Her debut album, Letter to the Lord (2011), reached double-platinum status following the worldwide success of "I Know," featured in a global Google Chrome campaign that introduced her music to millions. Since then, she has toured internationally, collaborated with artists including Will.i.am and Céline Dion and worked with producers such as Stuart White, Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis and Henry Hirsch.
Since 2024, a new generation of listeners has discovered her music through social media, where her songs, live performances and self-directed visual work generate tens of millions of views each month. As she prepares to release her sixth studio album in 2027 and embark on a new world tour, Irma continues to write and perform music that moves freely between folk, soul, pop and Americana.
