About this Event
IRISSCON returns to Dublin this November, bringing together cybersecurity professionals, researchers, law enforcement, industry experts and thought leaders for a day of insights, discussion and, just as importantly, the opportunity to meet and learn from others working across the cybersecurity community.
Organised by IRISSCERT, IRISSCON has always been about creating an event for the cybersecurity community, by the cybersecurity community.
There are no sales pitches from the stage. Instead, our speakers are invited because they have interesting experiences, research, expertise and perspectives to share.
IRISSCON 2026 Speakers
We are delighted to welcome another excellent line-up of speakers from Ireland and overseas:
Rik Ferguson – VP Security Intelligence at Forescout, Infosecurity Hall of Fame inductee and long-standing Special Advisor to Europol's European Cyber Crime Centre.
Tarah Wheeler – Chief Security Officer at TPO Group, US/UK Fulbright Scholar, author and internationally recognised cybersecurity and policy expert.
Selena Larson – Threat Researcher at Proofpoint, investigating advanced cyber threats and previously a threat analyst at Dragos and cybersecurity journalist.
Bob McArdle – Director of Cybercrime Research at TrendAI, specialising in cybercriminal activity, ransomware and emerging threats.
Peter Griggs – Cyber Security Architecture, Product and Testing Manager at Transport for London.
Dr Nicola Fox Hamilton – Cyberpsychology researcher and lecturer at IADT, whose work explores online behaviour, cyberpsychology and why people fall victim to scams.
Maureen King – Founder and CEO of iTrust 6A, working at the intersection of technology, privacy, data and law enforcement.
A speaker from An Garda Síochána's National Cyber Crime Bureau will also join us to provide insights from the frontline of investigating cybercrime in Ireland.
And returning once again to keep the day moving, ask the questions and keep our speakers on their toes will be Gordon Smith as MC for IRISSCON 2026.

More Than Just the Talks
One of the things that makes IRISSCON special is the people who attend.
The conference provides an opportunity to meet other cybersecurity professionals, exchange experiences and ideas, catch up with old colleagues and make new connections in a relaxed environment.
We deliberately provide plenty of time during the day for attendees to meet and talk with each other and with our speakers. With our after conference party providing a great place to meet and greet others.
Whether you work in cybersecurity, IT, risk, privacy, governance, academia, law enforcement or have responsibility for protecting your organisation's information and systems, you are very welcome to join us.
Keeping IRISSCON Accessible
IRISSCERT is a not-for-profit organisation and we want IRISSCON to remain accessible to as much of the cybersecurity community as possible.
The cost to attend is therefore just €50 per person, which helps us cover catering and the organisational costs associated with running the conference.
For that, attendees get a full day of talks from leading Irish and international cybersecurity experts, opportunities to meet and engage with speakers, and plenty of time to network with others from across the cybersecurity community.

COVID 19 GUIDELINES
The event will be run in line with the current government guidelines regarding the hosting of indoor events.
We recommend people wear masks, ideally FFP2 and N95 masks, when attending the event, in particular when moving in common areas and within the conference hall. In addition, we strongly encourage attendees to be up to date with the relevant vaccinations and we ask that attendees conduct a rapid antigen test (RAT) before attending IRISSCON.
The Aviva facilities have been selected due to its modern air conditioning and air filtration systems.
We appreciate everyone's support to keep all attendees safe.
