Cyclone Football is coming down to Texas in early November to play the Baylor Bears! Therefore the DFW and Austin alumni clubs are hosting another BBQ tailgate starting 4 hours beforehand (once kickoff time is announced closer to gameday).This is a new tailgate venue that is an even closer 10 min. walk across the pedestrian river bridge into McLane Stadium since the previous location of past Baylor tailgates is no longer available. The DFW club has rented out the entire Texas Sports Hall of Fame venue for four hours before kickoff. This indoor museum has 1000's of unique Texas sports memorabilia for the family to explore while socializing with fellow Cyclones fans from across the state and country.
Admission to the tailgate venue is currently $35 per person which includes one BBQ plate of brisket, chicken or sausage, sides and a non-alcoholic beverage. Children 12 and under are free. There will also be a cashless bar with beer and seltzer for sale as Texas law does not allow you to bring your own alcohol into the museum. The DFW club will also be selling raffle tickets and various merchandise for their fundraiser.

Just a reminder that all proceeds are being split between both the DFW club and Austin club's respective scholarship funds for area high school graduates confirmed to be enrolled as freshmen at Iowa State. Therefore, game and tailgate tickets are non-refundable while this event is almost entirely being operated by volunteer Cyclones fans! And not only is there a discount for early birds, but buying in advance helps us fund all the immediate food and venue costs.
Tailgate admission does not include parking, so it is recommended to follow Baylor's gameday parking information by either finding a parking lot space on campus (which should be prepaid in advance) or consider riding one of the shuttles into McLane Stadium and crossing the bridge to the museum.

So buy your game and BBQ tailgate tickets before prices increase closer to gameday! A kickoff time will not be chosen by TV networks until the earliest Oct. 26th to as late as that Monday of game week, Nov. 2nd, so we will announce how early the tailgate doors open come then.
