Join us on Sunday, October 18th for our Service Unit #706 Girl Scout Investiture & Rededication Ceremony. We will gather inside the Sugar Camp Town Hall and start promptly at 3pm. We kindly request ALL Girl Scouts to wear their Girl Scout Uniform. Each girl will receive a patch at the event. Cost is $2 cash per Girl Scout attending. This event is open to all family and friends. There will be a brief reception after the closing ceremony of cupcakes and lemonade. An investiture ceremony welcomes all new members to Girl Scouts, while a rededication ceremony is a great way for returning members to kick off the troop year and renew their commitment to the Girl Scout Promise and Law. Both ceremonies, at their core, are traditions that allow us to reflect on the ideals of the Girl Scout Movement and the empowering journey girls—and the millions of Girl Scouts who came before them—will undertake.
