Modes mākslinieka Germana Gordejeva jaunā kolekcija ir stāsts par iekšējo dvēseles stāvokli un laiku maiņas mijiedarbību, iekļaujot tajā arī daļu no latviskiem kodiem.
“Šī kolekcija ir mana reflekcija par iekšējo pasauli, par atceres laiku, par mantojumu un arī tik tipisko latvisko rudens noskaņu. Man augot vienmēr tuvas bija latviskās tradīcijas, tāpēc vēlējos tādu tēmu kā veļu laika tradīcija un to kluso oktobra/novembra atceres periodu iekļaut savas kolekcijas konceptā. Vienu brīdi manī mijās pārdomas: “Kur es esmu pašlaik? Kādā dzīves posmā? Ko tālāk..kā izdzīvot?” utml. Šī iekšējā sajūta man likās līdzīga brišanai cauri biezam miglas laukam. Tad tu sāc meklēt atbildes savās atmiņās,mantojumā,bērnībā..atgriežoties pie sevis, pie saknēm. Tā radās manas kolekcijas koncepts.
Apvienojot latviskos kodus, Viktorijas laika gotikas motīvus un reliģiskās estētikas motīvus radās stāsts par manu iekšējo “Mūžīgo ziemu” jeb itāļu valodā “Inverno Eterno””.

INVERNO ETERNO - GORDÉ FW'26/27 collection runway show.
Fashion designer Germans Gordejev’s new collection is a story about the interplay between the inner state of the soul and the changing of seasons, incorporating elements of Latvian cultural codes.
“This collection is my reflection on the inner world, on a time of remembrance, on heritage, and also on that distinctly Latvian autumn atmosphere. Growing up, I was always drawn to Latvian traditions, so I wanted to incorporate the tradition of Veļu laiks-the Latvian period of remembrance of the dead-and that quiet October/November period into the concept of my collection.
At one point, my thoughts kept circling around questions such as: "Where am I now? What stage of life am I in? What comes next… how do I survive?" and so on. This inner feeling seemed to me like walking through a thick field of fog.
Then you begin searching for answers in your memories, your heritage, your childhood… returning to yourself, returning to your roots. That is how the concept of my collection was born.
By combining Latvian cultural codes, Victorian Gothic motifs, and elements of religious aesthetics, a story emerged about my inner "Eternal Winter", or in Italian, "Inverno Eterno."”
