Students will become engineers, designers, and entrepreneurs as they work together to solve real-world problems through creativity, innovation, and hands-on building. Using materials such as cardboard, recycled items, craft supplies, and other everyday tools, participants will design, construct, test, and improve original inventions that address challenges facing people, communities, or the environment.
As their projects take shape, students will also develop communication and presentation skills by learning how to explain their ideas, highlight the benefits of their inventions, and persuade others of their value.
