About this Event
Join us for another invasive plant removal workshop on October 23rd from 9 am to 1 pm at a local residence in the South Chickamauga Watershed. Those registered will receive directions to location by email the week of the event. Lunch will be sponsored by the City of Chattanooga!
We will be getting our hands dirty in this workshop. Come prepared to learn and work while we remove as many invasive species as possible. Participants will learn how to identify invasive plant species, removal techniques, and the importance of removing invasive plants in our ecosystems!
Waterways will have gloves and some tools available, but feel free to bring your own gear! Gear such as loppers, gloves, handsaws, eye protection, closed-toed shoes, sunscreen, and hat are suggested. Don't forget your water bottle!
