About this Event
About the workshop
Join artist Sophie for a relaxed, playful workshop exploring intuition, creativity and a different relationship with making.
Sophie will begin by sharing a little about her own creative practice and journey, with time to ask questions about her work, career and experiences as a practicing artist.
You’ll then be guided through meditation, drawing with the breath, sensory exercises inspired by nature, collaborative art-making and playful experimentation.
No previous experience is needed and you don’t need to consider yourself an artist. The focus is on curiosity, reflection and enjoying the process, rather than creating something “perfect”.
Who is this for?
This workshop is part of a wider series for people who are interested in the creative industries, whether you’re looking to get into them, already working in them, or figuring out where you fit. Alongside the practical workshop, you’ll get to know the artist, hear about their creative journey and how they found their way into the industry, with time to ask questions and chat.
