About this Event
Learn the basic skills needed to create your own one-of-a-kind pair of beaded earrings. Along the way, you’ll learn about the importance of beading within Indigenous culture and identity, as well as the basics of one-needle and two-needle beading, different types of beads, choosing patterns, and more.
This free workshop will be hosted by MMF citizens Alesha Hildebrand and Taylor Hildebrand.
Must be 14 years of age or older. Space is limited and registration is required. Refreshments will be provided at no cost.
Thanks to funding from the Manitoba Arts Council’s Indigenous 360 program, there is no cost to participate. Thank you as well to Teri Beads for their support.
