No experience is required! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to warp a frame loom, space and stabilize the warp, create a basic plain weave, and develop good weaving tension and selvedges. We’ll explore color changes, joining and blending techniques, along with one or two simple texture techniques to add dimension and interest to your work. We’ll also cover basic finishing techniques so you can complete and take home your woven piece.
This class can be taken more than once, allowing you to build on your skills and explore new techniques with each visit.
Materials: All needed materials and supplies are included in the registration fee, but feel free to bring any leftover yarn scraps that you live from home to add color or texture to your piece.
