Join us to learn the basics of growing strawberries and blueberries on a small scale. Attendees will learn about site selection, variety selection, and best practices for planting and care from Dr. Sanjun Gu, horticulture crop Extension Specialist at VSU. This program is designed for growers new to berry production and those interested in high tunnel systems as a possible production practice for for-profit businesses. Participants looking to grow berries at home can participate in this program. However, the topics will be based on larger scale, for-profit production.
