About this Event
Sandplay Therapy is an experiential, non-verbal depth psychotherapy method that allows clients to express and process deep-seated emotional issues through a symbolic medium.
Developed by Dora Kalff and rooted in Jungian psychology, Sandplay Therapy provides a safe and protected space in which individuals can explore their inner worlds through the use of sand, water, and miniature figures.
This introductory workshop will provide participants with an understanding of the theoretical foundations, history, and therapeutic principles of Sandplay Therapy. Participants will explore the symbolic and healing potential of sandplay and gain an appreciation for how this approach supports psychological growth and integration.
Through presentations, discussion, and experiential activities, participants will become familiar with the sandplay process and its application in clinical practice.
Hands-On Experiential Component
The workshop includes a hands-on experiential component during which participants will have the opportunity to create their own sandtrays and experience firsthand the creative, symbolic, and reflective dimensions of Sandplay Therapy.
