Friday October 2nd & Saturday October 3rd
9am-4pm each day
Friday Morning training in the Columbia Falls training office and then outside training in Kalispell.
Hosted by Neil Day- All Day Dog Adventures (UK College of Scent Dogs certified Tracking Instructor & International Police Work Dog Association SAR Trailing Handler).
- Combination of in-class and outdoor training sessions
- Each team will have 1:1 hands on experiences including laying and running tracks or short introductory exercises- depending on teams experience
- The course is weather dependent (we reserve the right to change the date of the course if ground cover is not suitable for tracking)
Workshop content:
1. Theory and Science of Scent and Track Laying
2. Principles and methods of Track laying
3. Line handling skills
4. How to start your dog
5. How to progress your dog as you improve as a team
6. Articles on the Track
7. Debrief
Weekend Tuition:
One working dog: $350
Second working dog: $325
Audit (without a dog): $175
