Learn the creative possibilities of Gelli plate printing in this fun, beginner-friendly workshop. Whether you're new to printmaking or looking to add fresh techniques to your artistic practice, you'll learn how to make vibrant, one-of-a-kind monoprints using a flexible Gelli printing plate.Through demonstrations and hands-on exploration, you'll experiment with layering colors and shapes, creating hand-cut stencils, transferring images, and registering multiple layers to produce richly textured, expressive prints. A Gelli plate is a soft, reusable printing surface that makes monoprinting simple and accessible, allowing you to create unique prints without the need for a traditional printing press.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have completed a collection of original prints while gaining the skills and confidence to continue exploring this versatile printmaking process at home.
