Ever wanted to be a barista? Now you can!About this Event
Presented by the Jesuit Social Services, in partnership with Hume Youth Services.
✅ Participants must be aged between 15 to 24 and be connected to the City of Hume.
Join us in this hands-on course at the Sunbury Youth Cente, which prepares you for work in the vibrant café scene or further training in hospitality!
You will learn how to:
- Operate a commercial espresso machine
- Make a range of coffees
- Texture milk
- Understand what makes a good barista
Course outcomes:
- Basic skills in using a commercial espresso machine
- Greater understanding of what makes a good barista
- Improved skills and confidence to look for work
- Pathway to further training
