About this Event
As part of the Department for Education Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy, all education settings are expected to have a climate action plan and sustainability lead in place. Join the DfE's Sustainability Support Programme partners (Climate Ambassadors Programme, Let's Go Zero, National Education Nature Park) and other supporting organisations for a collaborative morning of climate action planning. Whether your nursery, school or college is at the start of this journey, or somewhere along the line, this session will provide you with an opportunity to explore climate action ideas that are relevant to your education setting and context. Through examples, discussions and activities, you will begin to draft your climate action plan and leave equipped to inspire meaningful change in your educational community.
This event is free and perfect for Sustainability Leads, SLT, Governors, Estates Managers and Curriculum Leads.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Please note - the event is taking place at 5 Wells Development Centre, adjacent to the Redwell Primary School building.
