Ever wanted to learn the beautiful craft of lacemaking? Then we have the perfect workshop for you.About this Event
Level: Adult Beginner
Join us for a 2 hour introduction to bobbin lacemaking including some local history of lacemaking in Buckinghamshire. A chance to try some simple techniques and to make a bag charm. It’s a very mindful activity giving your brain a chance to focus, create, learn and slow down all at once!
Taught in our wonderful shop by Sarah Mercer who will share her lifelong love of this beautiful and endangered heritage craft.
You'll learn along with other beginners.
We'll provide all the materials you'll need. Just bring yourself.
There'll be teas and coffees, and of course chocolates.
