About this Event

Intro to Watercolor 🎨
Hosted by On the Easel

Join us for a beginner-friendly watercolor workshop designed to help you feel confident and creative with this versatile medium. In this 3-hour session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting in a relaxed, supportive environment.

We’ll start by reviewing essential techniques—like washes, layering, blending, and brush control—then give you time to practice and get comfortable with the materials. From there, you’ll apply what you’ve learned to create your own watercolor painting, guided step-by-step by a professional artist.

What to expect:

  • Introduction to key watercolor techniques
  • Hands-on practice to build confidence
  • Guided instruction as you create your own painting
  • A welcoming, beginner-friendly atmosphere

The class takes place at On the Easel Studios, located inside a building filled with working artists’ studios—an inspiring space to learn and create.
