About this Event
In this class, you will first complete a seried of exercises designd to teach the basics of tool handling and stone removal and then move on to carving a simple design or letter.
Participants are encouraged to come with an idea prepared for a simple carving in a 5"x8"x2" block of stone. Relief carvings and letters work well. Check out @belfineart on Instagram for images of previous student projects!
Please wear closed-toed shoes. If you own your own safety goggles, please bring them. Ohterwise, goggles are supplies.
