Intro to Linocut - Small Works Artist Workshop

In a continuation of our Small Works Artist workshop series, Julia Welch will host an intimate workshop at Gallery 263.

Participants will produce a multi plate print using linocut techniques. The class will cover creating and sketching an image, transferring and carving the image onto a carve block, and printing a finalized piece. Open to all levels, experimentation encouraged!

About Julia

Julia is a senior studying painting at the Rhode Island School of Design, raised in Sharon, MA. She is trained in painting, printmaking, and jewelry production. In her free time she enjoys hiking, reading, and going to the beach.
