Introduction to Italian Folk Magic Step into the rich world of Italian folk magic and discover the traditions that have been passed down through generations of families and communities.
In this two-hour introductory class, we’ll explore the history and regional diversity of Italian folk practices, the role of folk Catholicism, protection against the malocchio (evil eye), traditional herbs, charms, symbols, and the importance of ancestors and household spirituality.
We’ll also experience a guided introduction to oil scrying, a traditional form of divination that uses olive oil and water to encourage reflection, intuition, and symbolic interpretation.
Whether you’re curious about your Italian heritage, interested in folk traditions, or looking to expand your magical practice, this class offers a respectful and historically informed introduction to these enduring customs.

The venue offers a large, free parking lot directly outside the building, including designated ADA parking spaces. The venue is fully ADA accessible.
No outside food or beverages are permitted. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase on-site.
Please note: Scented candles, herbs, and other ritual materials are used and burned regularly at this venue. If you have scent sensitivities or allergies, please plan accordingly.
