Lauren Burawski, native Wilmingtonian, is a late-bloomer of improv comedy. While she was typically the “athletic” type growing up, she always dreamed of being on the big stage. But with a terrible singing voice, she figured being the star of the play was a fruitless pursuit. Later as an adult, she visited the improv mecca in Chicago, Second City, while in town running marathons. Eventually, Lauren came to her senses, stopped running all those miles, and took to the stage as an improviser of comedy. She hasn’t looked back since! She has two sons who will likely end up on stage someday as well - hopefully not tonight.
Fearless Improv's season is generously sponsored by a gift from Artisans' Bank.
