Create with Confidence 2-Part Beginner Workshop | 5 Hours Total
Wed November 11th & Thurs November 12th | 6:30-9pm
Curious about Canva but not sure where to start? Whether you're creating social media posts, flyers, invitations, or graphics for your small business, Canva makes it easy to bring your ideas to life, even without graphic design experience!
In this hands-on, two-part workshop, we'll start with the basics and build your confidence as we go. Learn how to navigate Canva, customize templates, work with text, photos, colors, and graphics, and create designs that feel like your own. We'll also explore some of Canva's newer features, including AI-powered tools that can make designing even easier. You'll follow along as we demonstrate each technique, then have time to try it yourself. By the end of the workshop, you'll create your own finished design and learn how to resize, download, and share it.
No previous Canva or design experience needed! Just bring your laptop and a willingness to learn. We'll keep things approachable, practical, and fun, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions along the way.
Please bring: A laptop and a free Canva account set up before the first class. We'll be working primarily with Canva's free features and introducing a few optional Pro tools.
