About this Event
Celebrate the season with playful, hands-on printmaking inspired by the spirit of October. Participants will design and carve soft foam printing plates inspired by folklore creatures, harvest moons, and other eerie autumn imagery, then ink and hand-print their designs using brayers and water-based inks. Create multiple prints to take home and share.
Participants will explore introductory printmaking, focusing on pattern-making, symbolism, and visual storytelling. You will leave with original prints and a deeper understanding of the printmaking process.
No experience needed. This hands-on workshop is open to adults and children ages 12+ with an adult—families welcome! All materials are provided.
Instructor: Morgan Parr. Class size: 3-15 participants. Register by September 30.
Refund Policy
- If a workshop does not reach the minimum number of students within 3 days of the workshop, it may be cancelled at the instructor’s discretion. If you are already registered (and have paid) for a workshop that is cancelled, your whole registration amount will be refunded.
- If you request to withdraw from a workshop 72 hours or more before the day of the workshop, Del Ray Artisans will refund the Workshop Fee and any Supply Fee minus a 15% processing fee.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations less than 72 hours before the day of the workshop.
