About this Event
Whether you’re looking to raise money for community activities, buy equipment, or bring a local project to life, knowing where to look for funding and how to apply can make all the difference.
This interactive three-hour workshop will help you build your confidence in applying for funding, whether you’re completely new to it or looking to refresh your skills. You’ll learn about:
- Common funding terms and what they mean.
- How to find out if your project is eligible and meets a funder’s criteria.
- How to approach the key questions asked in funding applications.
- Practical tips to help you write stronger applications and improve your chances of success.
This workshop will be a mixture of presentation, interactive activities, and group discussion. It is aimed at those working, volunteering, or starting out in the VCFSE (voluntary, community and faith-based groups, and social enterprise organisations) sector in Stockport.
Refreshments such as tea and coffee will be provided.
