Join Ella and Simon for an afternoon of the swirly whirly, elegant fast fun that is Balboa.Balboa is a swing dance style that originated in the 1930s and is often danced to faster music. It has a very subtle elegant feel and many dancers fall in love with it for this reason. Open to all; no experience needed and complete beginners welcome. Smooth-soled shoes are essential for this workshop. Follows may prefer to wear a small heel.
Balboa is a close-hold dance and will require you to use this close connection with your partner to lead and follow.
2pm-5pm Sunday 8th November in the Tarn Room (downstairs room) at the Penrith Parish Rooms.
£10.
No partner needed; we will rotate during the workshop. Ensure you bring water and a snack/refreshments as needed.
