Set in the beautiful landscapes of the Northern Rivers, this immersive one-day experience teaches the essential foundations of bush navigation through practical activities and hands-on learning.
You’ll learn how to read the landscape, understand topographical maps, take accurate compass bearings, estimate distance, and navigate confidently without relying solely on technology.
Whether you're preparing for overnight hikes, remote adventures, outdoor leadership, or simply want to feel more capable in nature, this course gives you practical navigation skills you can immediately apply on the trail.

This is a highly practical outdoor course with a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
