As daylight fades and the woods shift into shadow, we’ll step onto the trail for a dusk hike inspired by retro sci-fi mystery and the feeling of walking into the unknown.
This is a twilight experience — not a full night hike — beginning before sunset and concluding shortly after dark in accordance with park hours.
Expect:
• Fading light through open fields
• Quiet forest sections at dusk
• Headlamps cutting through the dark
• A steady, unified group pace
Distance: 3 miles (outer loop trail)
Pace: Steady, group-based
Terrain: Grass and wooded trails
Capacity is limited to 10–12 participants to maintain safety and atmosphere.
Required:
• Headlamp or flashlight
• Weather-appropriate layers
• Closed-toe footwear

Optional (if you’re feeling thematic):
• Flannel or subtle retro-inspired layers

We will remain together as a single group throughout the hike.
After the hike, we’ll gather briefly near the parking area for warm cider and conversation before closing the evening.
All participants attend voluntarily and assume responsibility for their own safety.
