Join us for this special immersive presentation about Bristol's forgotten railroad disaster.
On February 6, 1896, under a storm-blackened sky, twenty railroad workers stood atop a decaying wooden railroad bridge spanning the Pequabuck River in Bristol. A powerful nor’easter had battered New England all day. Without warning, the bridge gave way. This is the story of the tragic day when six men lost their lives.
Door open at 6:30pm. Refreshments will be served. Additional parking is available in the rear of the building. Admission to this program is free, thanks to generous support from Thomaston Savings Bank and The Bristol Edition.
Reservations are encouraged for this program. To register email [email protected] or call the office at 860-583-6309.
