This year, something changed.
A foundation that previously sponsored a suicide prevention walk in El Paso decided not to hold the event here this year. But I believe that when something this important is needed in our community, we shouldn’t wait for someone else to make it happen.
As a suicide loss survivor, I know firsthand how important hope, connection, understanding, and support can be.
So this year, I’m taking a step forward and starting something of my own.
I am proud to announce the First Annual “Into the Light” Suicide Prevention Walk here in El Paso, Texas.
This walk is for those we have lost.
For those who are struggling.
For those who have survived.
For the families and friends left behind.
And for everyone who believes that one life is worth saving.
Together, we will walk Into the Light—to raise awareness, break the silence surrounding suicide, offer hope, and remind our community that you are not alone.
