Interwoven: Couples Moments of Connection and Book Club
PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW IN ENTIRETY BEFORE REGISTERING:
Special Operations Forces Couples are invited to join The Station Foundation for a curated hybrid book club program pairing three outStation couples events while reading The Love Prescription. The Love Prescription, written by Dr John Gottman and Dr. Julie Schwartz Gottman, emphasizes the importance of doing small things often to enhance your marriage. Reading material, at home discussions, and group experiences will reinforce the power of expressing fondness and appreciation, perspective taking, healthy communication, and prioritizing your relationship. Couples will share quality time together to cultivate virtues of teamwork, trust, and gratitude. Participating couples will enjoy three events together including:
- Couples Woodworking at Benevolent Design (OCT 16)
- Couples Gentle Touch and Cupping Workshop at Her Health Therapy (OCT 23)
- Couples Horsemanship at Hold the Reins, Courtland Virginia (NOV 14)
This program has been specifically written to support the busy lives of SOF couples; therefore, we ask couples to dedicate 15 minutes a day to complete course reading assignments and at home discussions to nurture your relationship.

Event Details:
- Registration for this program requires couples to commit to reading and discussing the assigned chapters of The Love Prescription before each event.
- Participants are expected to attend all four events. Please check your calendar and confirm for all four events before registering.
- A copy of The Love Prescription and all materials will be provided for each couple.
