Interpretation & Storytelling
Bring Your Songs to Life
12–13 December 2026 | Paris
8 hours of workshops | €175
Every song tells a story. But what makes an interpretation truly captivating?
Why can two singers perform the exact same song and make us feel something completely different?
The answer goes far beyond vocal technique.
In this immersive Paris Vocal Lab weekend, we'll explore the art of musical interpretation and discover how to bring more depth, personality, and emotional connection to your singing.
Drawing inspiration from both music and theatre, we'll experiment with different approaches to storytelling, explore new perspectives, and discover how even the smallest shift in intention can transform a performance.
This is an opportunity to move beyond simply singing a song and begin making it truly your own.
What to Expect
Over the weekend, we'll explore:
- Finding a deeper personal connection to your songs
- Bringing characters, emotions, and stories to life
- Discovering new perspectives and unexpected interpretations
- Developing greater freedom and confidence in your expression
- Using your voice, imagination, and creativity to communicate more authentically
Through playful exploration, guided exercises, and practical work, you'll discover new dimensions in songs you thought you already knew.
Bring Your Song!
Each participant is invited to bring one song they'd love to explore.
We'll work with your individual songs and also explore a shared piece together, discovering how different singers can bring completely different meanings to the same music.
No acting experience is necessary. Just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to experiment!
Who Is This Workshop For?
Singers of all levels and musical backgrounds who want to deepen their interpretation, develop their artistic identity, and become more expressive storytellers.
What You'll Take Away
By the end of the weekend, you'll have a fresh perspective on your repertoire, greater confidence in your artistic choices, and practical tools to help you approach songs with more imagination, depth, and authenticity.
