Join HavenRise Academy of Jacksonville for an informative community presentation focused on helping parents, guardians, educators and community partners keep children safer online.
Ryan Ellis, Task Force Officer with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit, will discuss practical ways adults can recognize online risks, set clear expectations for internet use, encourage open communication, use parental controls and monitoring tools appropriately, and help young people make safer choices across social media, gaming platforms and messaging apps.
The goal of this presentation is to strengthen collaboration between families, schools and community organizations while giving adults practical tools to support safer, healthier digital experiences for children and teens.
