1. Do I have to be an international student to attend?
No! The event is open to everyone. Whether you’re an international student, domestic student, UNSW student or from another university, you’re welcome to join us.
2. How is the ticket so affordable? Is there a catch?
No catch! We know student budgets can be tight, so we’ve worked with UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture Faculty, Arc UNSW and our event partners to keep tickets as affordable as possible.
3. What should I wear?
The dress code is Red Carpet Glam. Wear something that represents your culture, identity or what home means to you.
4. Can I bring friends from other universities or friends who have graduated?
Yes! Friends from other universities and graduates are welcome to attend. Just make sure everyone has their own ticket.
5. Do I have to walk the Red Carpet?
No. It’s completely optional. You can join in, take photos or just enjoy the night.
6. Can I come by myself?
Yes! You’re more than welcome to come on your own and meet other people throughout the night.
7. How does Best Dressed work?
Come dressed to impress! More details about the competition and prizes will be shared closer to the event.
8. What’s happening on the night?
There’ll be live cultural performances, the Red Carpet, Best Dressed, games, culrual activites, giveaways, prizes and photo opportunities.
9. Will there be assigned seating?
No. Seating is first come, first served, so arrive early if you want to grab a good seat.
10. Can I bring my friends?
Of course! Just make sure everyone has their own ticket.
11. What if I have accessibility requirements?
