British Steinway & Sons pianist and composer **Ronan Magill** is giving his first recital in Australia. As a young man he worked with Benjamin Britten, who heard him, was plainly taken with him, and wrote that he was amazed by his musicality, and that his was a remarkable gift.He will play **Bach**, **Beethoven’s** Waldstein Sonata, **Debussy**, **Liszt’s** Dante Sonata, two short pieces by **Miriam Hyde**, and a work of his own written for those lost on the Titanic.
If you are able, the suggested donation is $50, and $35 for seniors, students and pension card holders. You are welcome to choose the amount when you book. Parking is behind the church, and along Johnston, Collins and Annandale Streets.
A printed programme will be there on the day, and you would be welcome to stay for afternoon tea afterwards.
Would you come for the Beethoven or the Liszt? If someone you know would like this, please tag them.
