I’m delighted to be joining as a panellist at the inaugural International Conference on Libraries in the Digital Age 2026, under the theme “Developing Libraries and Their Role in Enlightenment and Cultural Dialogue.”📅 November 10–11, 2026
📍 Small Theatre, Conference Center, Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Alexandria, Egypt
My session, “Knowledge Empowerment and Information Literacy: Fighting Fake News and Misinformation,” will explore how we can empower people to critically evaluate information and navigate an increasingly complex information landscape.
Bringing together Egyptian, Arab, and international experts in libraries, information, culture, technology, and education, the conference will highlight libraries’ vital role in building a knowledge society and advancing Egypt’s Vision 2030.
I look forward to meaningful discussions, fresh perspectives, and connecting with colleagues who share a commitment to informed and engaged communities.
