Join the Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy for a shoreline cleanup as part of International Coastal Cleanup Day!
Join Jamaica Bay-Rockaway Parks Conservancy in cleaning up trash and marine debris from Broad Channel American Park's vital shorelines and wetlands while enjoying stunning views of Jamaica Bay!
Gloves, bags, and tools will be provided. Volunteers are encouraged to wear weather appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring their own water and sunscreen. The event is rain or shine.
Important things to note:
Meeting location: Volunteers will meet at the end of De Costa Ave in Arverne, NY.
There are no public restrooms on site. The nearest public restroom is located at Beach 59th Rockaway Beach Boardwalk.
