In this workshop you'll practice throwing taller forms, shaping narrow necks and flared or collared rims, and creating a balanced silhouette that holds up from base to lip. Your instructor will demo techniques for pulling height, collaring in, and refining curves, then guide you as you throw your own piece. Perfect for students comfortable with centering and pulling walls who are ready to explore more expressive forms.Because this is a one-time workshop, you'll have 2 hours of open studio time to come back and trim, add finishing touches, and complete your piece.
