🏺 Intermediate Wheel Throwing with Julie G📅 Saturdays, November 7 – December 19
⏰ 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Ready to take your pottery skills to the next level? Join Julie G at Jane’s Art Center for a six-week Intermediate Wheel Throwing class designed for potters who have mastered the basics and are ready to explore more advanced techniques.
Building on your knowledge of cylinders, cups, and bowls, you’ll learn how to combine thrown pieces to create larger vessels, coil build onto thrown forms, and create lidded jars with fitted galleries and tops. You’ll also strengthen your handle and knob-making skills while learning how to create more cohesive, thoughtfully designed pieces.
✨ You’ll also explore advanced glazing and surface decoration techniques, including underglazes, sgraffito, Mason stains, colored slips, and custom studio glazes.
This class is a great opportunity to refine your technique, experiment with new approaches, and expand your creative possibilities on the wheel!
🧱 Please note: Clay is not included in the class fee but can be purchased in Jane’s studio.
