About this Event
Take your knitting to the next level with a pair of stylish leg warmers! These are versatile and go with almost everything. They also work through both the Fall and Winter seasons and can be dressed up or casual wear. Yarn colors and patterns are totally customizable to your own preferences. Topics covered during this workshop:
- Knit and purl stitches
- Rib stitch
- Colorwork
- Fair isle knitting
- Planning and customizing sizes for yourself
- Basics of pattern design
This is an intermediate workshop and assumes that you have some knitting knowledge such as casting on, casting off, and knit stitch. If you've done a scarf or hat before, you'll be fine here. If you've never knitted before, we recommend starting with the knit hat workshop :)*Please note that the project will not be completed during the workshop. You will be given the necessary tools and skills to complete it at your leisure.
You can choose to bring your own materials or have everything provided by us (choose the ticket for 'materials included'). If you plan to bring your own materials, we recommend the following:
- 2 skeins of Size 6 yarn
- 1 pair of circular knitting needles (9-10mm, 10-12in long)
Your workshop comes with a complimentary Knitting Help workshop. This is a session that's perfect if you need more time to finish or ask clarifying questions. Simply look for an upcoming Help session and let us know ([email protected]) which session you'd like to attend at least 48 hours before the session starts. Please note that the same cancellation and rescheduling policy applies to the Help session.

Simply send us a note at [email protected] with the date, time, and name of the workshop before 48hr of the workshop's start time, and we will add you to the list! If you have a Family Level VIP Learning Pass, please confirm how many people in your family will be attending.
