This seminar provides the tax professional an understanding on how and why the IRS secures financial information about taxpayers. We define the types of financial documentation that the IRS typically seeks and explain how the IRS analyzes and verifies the financial documentation provided by the taxpayer. We also review how the IRS looks for possible hidden assets and income.
